Artura is McLaren’s second plug-in hybrid vehicle after McLaren P1. The sports car was unveiled in 2021 as the successor to the McLaren 570S Sport Series. Artura is the first McLaren model to use the new three-liter V6 gasoline engine. It is coupled with an electric motor that brings the vehicle to a total system output of 500 kW (680Ps). To convert this power into propulsion in the best possible way, a high degree of lightweight construction is required, amongst other things. This is where our dashboard support part made of lightweight and rigid lignoprop makes its contribution.
