This component is an essential part of a quick connector, which only comes into its function after the final assembly.
As the name implies, its main function is to lock onto a standard VDA connector. The second function is provided by the seals in the form of O-rings. The two O-rings work optimally in different temperature conditions. The third function is the inconspicuous PIN, which, however, protects the entire construction from contamination during transport and is only removed at the assembly line.
This product is manufactured millions of times, whereby each component is 100% measured, tested and provided with a serial number, so that 100% traceability can be guaranteed.
